Our hotel room

It occurred to me that I have never posted photos of our hotel room, so I'll add a few such photos this evening. The room is about 12x12. Although it may seem strange that we live in a small box, we actually love it. It has a window a/c unit that is wonderful. Also after being in and working in India all day, the small hotel room is a welcome change. It is our little America. We can watch US reruns on television and make a pot of tea. The room is cleaned each day, so we hvae clean towels and sheets daily. The laundry service is perfect and breakfast is free. Best of all, the internet service reliable is free. It is our little corner of the world and we are happy. It is not fancy and probably considered to be a 2 star hotel.

A funny story about the hotel service. We had a leaky toilet. It drips and drips, but since there is a floor drain near the toilet, the water runs down the drain. The hotel clerk sent a guy to work on the leak several times, but without success. Keep in mind that Kevin is here during the day, so he saw the scenario evolve over the week. After several attempts, the next guy came into the bathroom and placed a measuring cup under the leak and announced that he had solved the problem. Case closed and problem is solved. So now, the water drips into the cup and when it gets full, the water overflows and then proceeds to run into the floor drain.
